Timberland's mission is to equip people to make a difference in their world. They do this by creating outstanding products and by trying to make a difference in the communities where they live and work, reducing their carbon footprint and being environmentally responsible. Timberland boots and shoes are comfortable enough to wear all day and rugged enough for all year. The Swartz family has been in the shoe business since 1952 and under the Timberland name since 1973 with the foundational belief that making new products goes hand in hand with making things better.
